Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled ITC Technician to join our school support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support and technical assistance to our users. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems, and the ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively. The ITC Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our IT infrastructure and ensuring that all systems operate smoothly.

Duties

Provide comprehensive IT support and technical assistance to staff, addressing issues promptly and efficiently. Manage help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of user requests. Troubleshoot software issues across various platforms, including Windows and other school MIS systems. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical problems and provide clear solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and system configurations using Remedy or similar tools. Collaborate with other team members to enhance service delivery and improve overall user experience. Conduct regular system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance of office equipment.

Experience

Proven experience in IT support or technical support roles is essential. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with users at all levels. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
