About the Role:
As an Account Manager, you would serve as a main point of contact for our Southern customer base, helping with enquiries, new business, or gathering advice for the technical team. Other duties and responsibilities an Account Manager may perform include:
Identifying and generating new business opportunities
Attending customer review meetings
Communicating to clients clearly and addressing any concerns
Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients
Delivering a professional sales pitch to prospective clients
Participating in Networking events to generate new business leads
Ability to plan and maintain a sales pipeline
Achieving monthly targets and KPIs
Ensure customers are happy with the company's products or services
Resolving any conflicts or complaints that may arise
Contributing information to sales strategies
What are we looking for?
An Account Manager needs several skills to perform their day-to-day duties effectively. These skills include:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role
Technical Skills
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Azure AD)
Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (firewalls, endpoint protection, MFA, phishing awareness)
Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, VPNs)
Experience with VoIP and hosted telephony solutions (e.g., 3CX, Horizon, Gamma)
Ability to diagnose and escalate IT support issues (1st-2nd line level desirable)
Knowledge of RMM and ticketing platforms (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar)
Interpersonal & Professional Skills
Comfortable discussing IT solutions with non-technical customers

Ability to communicate well and talk to anyone and everyone
Open-minded and willing to learn new ways of working
Willingness to stay up to date with evolving technologies in IT, cyber, and telecoms
Experience:
Account Management: Min 3 years experience

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Previous experience in a customer-facing role
