phlebotomy and IV cannulation
and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venepuncture and IV cannulation using aseptic technique
Prepare and administer IV infusions (e.g. vitamins, hydration therapy, medications)
Monitor patients throughout treatment and manage any adverse reactions
Assess patient suitability and obtain informed consent
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold GDPR standards
Follow NMC, CQC, and infection control guidelines at all times
Work independently in a clinic or mobile setting, ensuring patient safety
Maintain stock, equipment, and medication handling standards
Essential Requirements
Registered Nurse (Adult/Child) with active NMC registration
Trained and experienced in phlebotomy and IV administration
Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience (acute, community, or infusion setting)
Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) training
Strong clinical judgment and patient monitoring skills
Desirable Experience
Previous work in IV wellness therapy, infusion clinics, or mobile healthcare
Additional certifications in IV therapy or vascular access
Experience using electronic medical record systems
Ability to travel for mobile patient visits (if required)
