Casual Catering & Hospitality Assistants play an important role in the UEA's '
TheCampus Kitchen', in providing effective support, to the highest standard, in the operation of all food services throughout the day. The tasks undertaken range from assisting with store deliveries, preparation of foods, serving customers in outlets, hospitality deliveries, general cleaning, washing of equipment to serving tea, coffee and prepared dishes to a variety of customers and assisting at functions and events.#
We are looking for staff to work in the following areas:
Banqueting and formal dining
Front of house service
Back of house support
Baristas
Food preparation and production
#
You will demonstrate the ability to manage your time effectively within a fast paced environment; be of smart appearance; consistently demonstrate good customer service; display enthusiasm and have a willingness to help your team. Previous experience of working in a hospitality environment with some barista training or experience is preferred, but not essential. Successful candidates must be available for an in-person training and induction session in January 2026.
