Job Summary:
Moray Sports Centre is looking for a reliable and hardworking Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, members, and visitors. This role includes both indoor and outdoor duties, ensuring the overall appearance and cleanliness of the centre is kept to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain indoor areas including changing rooms, toilets, corridors, offices, and sports areas Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal Maintain outdoor areas, including litter picking, basic grounds upkeep, and keeping entrances and surrounding areas tidy Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to management Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in line with procedures Support general upkeep tasks to ensure the centre always looks presentable
Skills & Requirements:
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not essential Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks Good attention to detail and pride in keeping areas clean and well-maintained Reliable, punctual, and flexible Awareness of health and safety practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
