Job Summary:

We are looking for a

Japanese Head Spa Therapist

to provide specialized scalp and hair care treatments rooted in the traditional Japanese head spa methodology. This role requires a strong foundation in holistic scalp therapies, massage techniques, and wellness practices to offer clients a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

authentic Japanese head spa treatments

, including: Scalp analysis Scalp exfoliation and deep cleansing Aromatherapy scalp massage Steam and oxygen therapy Hair conditioning treatments Lymphatic drainage and neck/shoulder massage Customize treatments to suit individual scalp and hair conditions. Educate clients about the benefits of Japanese head spa therapies and recommend suitable at-home care and products. Ensure treatment rooms are impeccably clean, serene, and aligned with spa hygiene protocols. Maintain detailed client records including preferences, allergies, and treatment outcomes. Assist in promoting head spa services through consultations, demonstrations, and excellent customer service. Collaborate with fellow therapists and front desk staff to ensure a seamless client journey from arrival to departure.

Qualifications:

Certification in cosmetology, hair therapy, massage therapy, or a related field. Specialized training or experience in

Japanese head spa techniques

(preferred or willing to train). L2 or upwards beauty is desired however full training is given if needed. Strong understanding of scalp anatomy, circulation, and natural hair care, or an interest to learn. Excellent hands-on massage skills with a focus on relaxation and therapeutic touch. Fluent in English

Hours - Thursday 10-8 ( 30 mins lunch ) Friday 10-6 ( 30 mins) and Saturday 10-4 ( 30 Mins lunch )

22.5 hrs per week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 15,210.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
