About the role
Job Role
Working within the team you will:
Assist with ensuring that the Parts Department is run as efficiently as possible
Ensure customer demands are met, and you use your skills to ensure the correct solution is supplied
Ensure that procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt, following the Dennison JCB process
Ensure that all goods are received and checked and stored accurately
Maintain an efficient stock control system
Assist in the supply of parts to Engineers
Ensure that the whole parts operations housekeeping is in good order
Work with all areas of the Dealerpoint to ensure best practice is maintained, and a good working relationship is present
Conduct yourself in a business-like and professional manner
Whilst most of your time is spent working at our Dennison JCB franchise in Templepatrick gaining experience with on-the-job training, you will also attend college on day release to gain recognised qualifications.
Training
Block Release at Riverpark Training in Mallusk includes:
Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Principles - VRQ (Technical Certificate)
Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Competence - QCF (Practical Competence)

As well as being one of the longest established Volvo Truck & Bus dealers in the UK and Ireland, Dennisons is also the appointed JCB dealer in Northern Ireland & Donegal for JCB construction, industrial, and access equipment.
The Dennison Group has depots based in Ballyclare, Newry, Dungannon, and Coleraine. We also have a Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop located in Ballyclare and our JCB dealership is located in Templepatrick.
Required Criteria

• GCSE Maths and English and preferably ICT at grade C or above
• Be able to competently use a desktop PC and associated software systems
• A reasonable understanding of the Microsoft Office package

• A background that would enable you to relate plant machinery parts knowledge to customer requirements would be advantageous.
