Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Jewellery Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to connect with customers, providing them with an exceptional shopping experience. As a Jewellery Consultant, you will assist clients in selecting the perfect pieces of jewellery, utilising your expertise in upselling and product knowledge to enhance their experience.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in jewellery. Provide expert advice on product selection, including styles, materials, and care. Demonstrate effective selling techniques, including upselling and cross-selling. Maintain an organised display of jewellery items, ensuring cleanliness and accessibility. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette. Process sales transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. Stay updated on current trends in jewellery to provide informed recommendations. Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.

Qualifications

Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple customer interactions. Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in the jewellery industry but not essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele. Basic mathematical skills for processing transactions accurately. A friendly and approachable demeanour that fosters a welcoming environment for customers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
