As our Jaguar Land Rover Warranty Executive for The AA you'll provide a prestige service to your customers. You will be the warranty interface between Jaguar Land Rover and the AA, supporting the delivery of a professional roadside assistance service, and ensuring that any product or quality concerns are identified early, and escalated and resolved appropriately.

Salary: Up to 32,500

Hours: Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700

Location: Oldbury - Office based role

Our JLR team are expanding and as our Warranty Executive, you'll be joining a team of consummate professionals working with our JLR Dedicated Technicians delivering industry leading technical warranty support. You'll be applying the JLR warranty and goodwill policy and procedures correctly to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

What will I be doing?

Processing and submitting accurate warranty and goodwill claims Reviewing warranty reporting systems with the Operations Manager and initiating improvements where necessary Examining any outstanding warranty debts and implementing action to ensure their recovery Liaising with the Technical Liaison Engineers and Dedicated Technicians to ensure all parts replaced under warranty are retained for the correct period of time, are labelled and made available to manufacturer on request Apportioning the costs for disallowed warranty claims and returned parts to the appropriate sources Providing support for internal warranty audits Liaising with the warranty department within JLR to ensure approval and implementation of any new warranty procedures

What do I need?

You'll need to be/have:

A Master communicator:

Able to communicate effectively to customers both inside and outside the AA.

A Fixer/Problem Solver

You will revel in utilising your technical expertise to help solve a variety of problems. Whether that's fixing a warranty related issue or using your analytical skills to spot trends to stop re-occurring faults in their tracks. You'll be the JLR solution expert that keeps things ticking

Process Driven:

You'll be able to capitalise on your knowledge of technical systems and process, gained from your demonstrable experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, to keep that continuous improvement going!

Resilience:

You'll be dynamic and reliable under pressure, able to work to deadlines and get things done

Software Savvy:

Your confidence with Excel, and Microsoft applications will mean you're a whizz with the data recording and administration tasks that are part of this position
