Overview


We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary excellence and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and leading the kitchen staff to create exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with team members to manage inventory, including ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations for quality and taste. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals. Proficient cooking skills with a solid understanding of various culinary methods. Extensive kitchen experience, ideally within a restaurant setting. Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity and attention to detail in dish presentation. Knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Strong leadership abilities, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration.
