Job Opportunity: Recovery Worker

Location: Exeter, EX1 | Full-Time

Oakwood 24 is looking for a passionate and committed

Recovery Worker

to join our team and support individuals on their journey through recovery from drug and alcohol misuse.

What You'll Do

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will:

Manage a caseload of service users, supporting them from assessment through to sustained recovery. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies. Deliver one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions. Support access to treatment, community resources, harm reduction services, and safeguarding procedures. Promote visible recovery and engage families in the recovery journey.

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
Understanding of substance misuse and complex needs
Experience with risk assessments, recovery planning, and safeguarding
Excellent communication and case management skills

Desirable:

Relevant professional qualification (e.g. counselling, addiction studies) Knowledge of harm reduction strategies and therapeutic approaches such as MI, CBT, PSIs, or ITEP
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
