Job Pack Coordinator
National Testing Services Ltd is a niche provider of specialist testing services serving the civil engineering, construction, and infrastructure industries. We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive Job Pack Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of projects undertaken by National Testing Services. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Job Pack Coordinator to join our Delivery Team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects by coordinating between various stakeholders, managing schedules, and ensuring that project milestones are met efficiently. Your proactive approach will help streamline operations, facilitate effective communication, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.

Initially, you will work under the day-to-day direction of the Contracts Manager. As your role develops, you will take on greater responsibility, liaising directly with clients and other various organisations, including (but not limited to):
Local and highways authorities
Transport operators
Temporary traffic management contractors
Statutory undertakers (gas, electricity, water, etc.)
Approved suppliers
Local businesses
Members of the public
This is primarily a remote-based role however there may be times where travel to and periods of overnight stays at our office in Malpas, Cheshire are required.
Duties and responsibilities:
Preparing and issuing accurate and timely project documentation to support the safe and successful delivery of technical field-based surveys in line with company processes and procedures.
Reviewing Statutory Undertakers' Plans (C2s), identifying potential risks, and implementing design changes where necessary to ensure the safe delivery of site work.
Identifying and documenting foreseeable risks for each project, ensuring all control measures are reflected in risk assessments, method statements, permits, and other deliverables.
Ensuring site teams receive complete and accurate job packs with sufficient lead time to review documentation prior to deployment.
Coordinating the procurement and delivery of all sub-contracted services, materials, plant, and equipment to support project schedules.
Managing the application and administration of NRSWA permits for the duration of site works.
Liaising with Lead Technicians to resolve urgent site issues promptly and effectively.
Ensuring all site-based documentation (e.g., vehicle and plant check sheets) is returned promptly to facilitate job pack closeout and audit readiness.
Maintaining accurate project data in Excel and other reporting tools to enable timely and accurate invoicing.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
The above is not an exhaustive list, and you will be required to carry out other reasonable duties and tasks to help meet the needs of the business.
Desirable - Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Experience with StreetManager software.
Previous experience working with and understanding C2's/Statutory Undertakers plans would be beneficial.
Confident and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Proactive and positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
