Would you like to join a growing cinema company in an exciting industry? If so we are currently recruiting a Kitchen Manager for our state of the art all digital Clydebank Omniplex Cinema!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in culinary arts. Experience within a fast food/pizza restaurant is desirable but not essential

Reporting to the General Manager, you will join our management team to oversee back and front of house kitchen operations and Kitchen Team Members. You will be responsible for the delivery of food to the agreed standards and quantities to ensure availability and quality for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include;



Understanding the guest experience and ensuring that all food served is to the highest standard. Managing and coaching the team to achieve the agreed specification and set standards. Understanding customer flow and expected levels of trade on a day to day basis to effectively plan and manage availability and quality of product at all times of the day and to minimise waste. Ensure up to date training of all Kitchen Team Members. Be responsible for controlling food stocks, food safety due diligence and waste including ordering to schedule and weekly audits. Lead the communication to the Kitchen team including upcoming menu changes, daily site updates and targets. Be responsible for the working practices of your kitchens, ensuring food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to. Work with Food Development teams to introduce new products to site within timescales and to the agreed standards. Provide feedback to Directors and Senior Management of Kitchen and Food Development on recipes, processes, equipment and quality in a professional manner. Ensure all equipment owned by Omniplex is maintained to the highest standard.

Duties

:

Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and Kitchen Porters. Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Experience

:

Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in barista duties is a plus, enhancing our beverage offerings. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Requirements:



Previous experience in a leadership role in a restaurant, fast food or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Culinary degree or equivalent experience Experience in running a kitchen specialising in pizza. Experience of running a busy kitchen and working to budgets, targets and implementing and following all relevant regulations and legislation. Experience of hiring and training a team

Pay: 29,000.00 per year
