We're on the lookout for a skilled joiner to specialise in the manufacture of children's play equipment.

Moorgate construction are a family-run construction company. We specialise in designing and building natural playgrounds, high-quality sustainable outdoor equipment, landscaping, and surfacing. We work across a range of nurseries and early year settings.

We create bespoke outdoor spaces that allow children to explore, be creative, and flourish--because every child deserves the chance to play.

The Role:



As a Skilled Joiner, you'll play a hands-on role in crafting timber play equipment .You'll need a keen eye for detail, confidence in your joinery skills, and a creative mindset--someone who can think outside the box and enjoys being part of a team that brings playful ideas to life through quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:



Handcraft both bespoke and standard timber playground products in the workshop, with a focus on quality, detail, and durability

Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and blueprints Collaborate closely with the design team to bring creative concepts to life, and with the site team to ensure smooth project handovers Think creatively and contribute ideas for unique, engaging play features that inspire imagination and play Operate a range of woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently Review and refine blue prints and cutting lists for standard products to improve efficiency and quality where needed Carry out regular quality checks to ensure all completed work meets our high safety and craftsmanship standards Help maintain a clean, well-organised, and safe workshop environment, including care and maintenance of tools Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring safe working practices at all times

Skills & Experience Required:



Proven experience as a joiner, ideally in a workshop setting Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a supportive team environment. A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving Pride in delivering high-quality, meaningful work
