We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects including roofing, fabrication, and assembly. This role requires proficiency with power tools and a solid understanding of building regulations and safety standards. The Joiner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work is completed to high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures as per specifications. Carry out roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and finishing. Use power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Perform heavy lifting as required for various construction projects. Conduct painting and finishing work to enhance the appearance of completed projects. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and in accordance with building codes. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and masons, to complete projects on time. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter in a similar role is essential. Familiarity with various types of roofing systems is advantageous. Strong skills in using power tools and hand tools effectively. Experience in painting, plumbing, or masonry will be considered an asset. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
