Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Perform roofing tasks as required, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Carry out construction painting to enhance the appearance of finished products. Assist with plumbing and masonry work as needed, contributing to overall project completion. Conduct electrical installations when necessary, demonstrating versatility in skills. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential. Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is required. Knowledge of carpentry principles and practices is advantageous. Experience in roofing, heavy lifting, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
