Job Description
We are currently looking for experienced self-employed joiners to work on a subcontract basis. Candidates must be capable of undertaking all aspects of joinery, with a strong emphasis on traditional roofing joinery (e.g. cut roofs, pitched roofs, rafters, etc.). Ongoing work available for reliable tradespeople who take pride in their craft.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out a wide range of joinery tasks including 1st and 2nd fix.
Specialise in traditional roof construction and related joinery.
Interpret and work from technical drawings and site instructions.
Work independently or as part of a small team to meet deadlines.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery, particularly with cut roofs and traditional methods.
Fully competent in all areas of joinery (excluding modern truss-only roofing).
Own tools and transport (essential).
UTR number & ability to work on a self-employed
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
