Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and install various wooden structures and fixtures. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and performing heavy lifting, as well as a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Perform joinery tasks such as cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials. Install fixtures and fittings with precision and attention to detail. Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing wooden structures. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including electricians and masons, to ensure project completion. Utilise power tools safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety regulations. Conduct site measurements to ensure accurate fitting of materials. Assist with heavy lifting as required during the installation process.

Experience

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Familiarity with electrical installations is desirable. Skills in painting and masonry will be considered an advantage. Ability to work efficiently with power tools and perform heavy lifting tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
