Duties-Competent Joiner/Carpenter required for busy nationwide company.

MEC Fire Services LTD require a Joiner/carpenter to carry out the manufacture and installation of fire doors in a number of hotels.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Dependant on competence and qualifications

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Day shift
Work Location: In person

- Assemble and fabricate wooden components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine measurements and materials needed.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials using hand tools and power tools
- Install cabinets, doors, windows, stairs, and other wooden fixtures
- Repair or replace damaged wooden components

Skills
- Knowledge of paint application techniques for finishing wooden surfaces
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky materials
- Strong carpentry skills for constructing and repairing wooden structures
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools for woodworking tasks
- Ability to assemble and fabricate wooden components accurately
- Knowledge of power tools used in joinery work

Pay: 25.00-40.00 per hour
