Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires a hands-on individual who is comfortable working with a range of tools and materials to create high-quality wooden structures and fixtures.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Perform carpentry work, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all projects. Engage in roofing activities as required, ensuring structural integrity and safety. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process. Assist with construction painting to finish projects to a high standard. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including plumbing, masonry, and electrical teams, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential. Familiarity with fabrication techniques and assembly processes is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work will be considered an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physically demanding tasks as part of the job requirements.
