Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with experience in various aspects of carpentry and joinery. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and work on diverse construction projects.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete projects Assist in roofing projects, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards Carry out construction painting tasks as required for finishing touches Engage in basic plumbing and masonry work when necessary Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians, to ensure seamless project execution Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations

Experience

Proven experience in joinery, carpentry, or a related field is essential Familiarity with fabrication techniques and assembly processes is highly desirable Competence in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, routers) is required Experience with roofing, heavy lifting, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work would be advantageous Strong attention to detail with an ability to follow technical drawings and plans accurately
