Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery, with the ability to work from scale drawings and be experienced in building and erecting timber kits onsite. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience, We would consider supplying a van and fuel to the right candidate and after an initial trial period.

If you have the ability co-ordinate your own project for us by becoming the main point of contact onsite, we would be willing to negotiate on the rate going forward. this is seen as desirable but not essential.

Duties

Working on domestic extensions & new build homes, carrying out all joinery tasks as required. Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all measurements are accurate and specifications are met. Work with various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Engage in masonry and steelwork when necessary to create openings, contributing to the overall construction process Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and plumbers etc to ensure seamless project execution.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with experience in timber kits and hand cut roofs, trusses etc. Strong understanding of how to plumb & square structures accurately. Experience using power tools safely and effectively is essential. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise on-site. Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and other tradespeople.
