Overview

We are seeking a skilled, time-served Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing wooden structures and fixtures, ensuring high-quality workmanship in every task.

Responsibilities

Construct and install wooden structures such as doors, windows, and frameworks. Fabricate bespoke joinery items according to specifications. Perform roofing tasks, including the installation of rafters and roof coverings. Carry out masonry work as required, ensuring structural integrity. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Conduct electrical installations related to joinery projects when necessary. Prep and fit all aspects of wood and LVT/LVP flooring. Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery work. Strong understanding of joinery techniques and materials. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during construction tasks. Knowledge of basic electrical installations is an advantage. Familiarity with masonry techniques is desirable. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour
