We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with experience in using various hand and power tools. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including the assembly of structures, roofing, and other construction tasks. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out joinery tasks. Assemble wooden structures and components according to specifications. Perform roofing duties, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Carry out masonry work as required for various projects. Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion. Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently as part of the construction process. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment related to joinery work. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Familiarity with roofing techniques and masonry work is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid construction-related qualification or apprenticeship is preferred but not mandatory.
