We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of joinery techniques.

Duties

Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all work meets quality standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and masons. Carry out roofing tasks as required, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Engage in construction painting to finish projects to a high standard. Execute heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or related fields such as carpentry or construction. Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Knowledge of roofing practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Familiarity with plumbing and electrical work is beneficial but not essential. Experience in masonry is considered an asset. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Pay: 150.00-250.00 per day
