We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with a range of materials and tools. As a Joiner, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all components fit together seamlessly. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various projects. Conduct roofing work as required, ensuring proper installation and weatherproofing. Engage in heavy lifting as necessary to move materials and complete installations. Carry out construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished products. Assist with plumbing and masonry work when needed, contributing to overall project completion. Provide electrical support for installations that require basic wiring or fixture placements.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and assembly processes. Strong knowledge of carpentry principles and joinery practices. Experience using hand tools such as chisels, saws, and hammers. Competence in operating power tools including drills, sanders, and saws. Familiarity with roofing methods and materials. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic understanding of construction painting techniques for finishing touches. Knowledge of plumbing systems and masonry work is advantageous. Experience with electrical tasks is beneficial but not essential.
