Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Joiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. All works to be on new build sites spread across the north east/ north yorkshire. Working on a subcontract basis directly for AR Construction. Pay will be made fortnightly. Own tools and transport is essential. Experiance in new build joinery encouraged but not essential.

All works will be carried out on a price. Some dayworks available when agreed on site but predominantly price work. Great potential earnings for experienced joiners

Duties

joists and flooring Roof structure errection. 1st fix ( studwork, stairs and pre plaster activities etc) 2nd fix ( handrails, frames,doors, architrave, skirtings etc) Final fix (handles, locks , bath panels etc) Kitchens (all dry fit) Doors Windows and garage doors Various other joinery tasks in and around the newbuild enviorment.

Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the joinery trade. Understanding of the nhbc/ equivalent guidelines to new builds. Valid CSCS card Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Physical fitness is required for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Have your own transport and cordless tools suitable for site. Able to follow health and safety guidelines required on site, including the correct use of PPE. Good timekeeping and housekeeping.
