We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, including timber frame, roofing, and second fix joinery. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Assemble wooden structures, frameworks, and fittings according to specifications. Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Carry out heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and meets industry standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter with a solid understanding of construction practices. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of masonry techniques is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and plans accurately. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety practices within the workplace.
