Overview

We are seeking a skilled kit erect Joiner to join our team, responsible for a variety of construction and woodworking tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks Perform joinery work, including cutting, shaping, and joining materials Assist with roofing projects as needed, ensuring structural integrity Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required on-site Carry out construction painting to finish projects to a high standard Support plumbing and masonry tasks when necessary Collaborate with other tradespeople, including those with electrical experience, to complete multi-faceted projects Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry and joinery is essential Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery work Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Knowledge of roofing practices is advantageous Experience in construction painting is desirable Basic plumbing skills would be beneficial Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus Electrical experience is an asset but not mandatory

Pay: 15.00-35.00 per hour
