We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. This role involves working with wood and other materials to create, assemble, and install structures and fixtures. The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all measurements are accurate. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing structures as required. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and masons to complete projects. Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move materials or install components. Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing as needed. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Skills

Proficient in carpentry techniques and joinery methods. Experience with electrical installations is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Skilled in painting and finishing techniques for a polished final product. Knowledge of masonry work is a plus. Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in joinery. Experience working on roofs or similar structures is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
