Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and be proficient in various construction tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to fabricating and assembling wooden structures, ensuring precision and quality in every project undertaken. The Joiner will work closely with other tradespeople to deliver high-quality results on time.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects. Perform masonry work as required, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly. Lift heavy materials as needed, demonstrating physical capability for the role.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with a strong understanding of fabrication processes. Experience with power tools and hand tools relevant to the construction industry. Knowledge of masonry practices is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to plumb accurately for precise installations. Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects. The sub contracted work, is work with in the home improvement scheme. Work carried out in domestic settings. All work carried out will be on price per m2.
