About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Joiner
to join our construction team. The role involves working on civil engineering and infrastructure projects, delivering high-quality joinery work on site to support formwork, shuttering, and other structural requirements.Responsibilities
Carrying out all aspects of site joinery within civil construction projects Reading and interpreting technical drawings and construction plans Constructing and installing formwork, shuttering, and temporary structures Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other materials Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards Collaborating with site managers, engineers, and other trades Maintaining tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
Requirements
Proven experience as a joiner within civil or construction projects NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent (preferred) CSCS card (essential) Shuttering joinery / formwork experience (highly desirable) Strong knowledge of health and safety practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
