Job Description

:

We're a small, skilled joinery and fit-out team working across commercial and high end domestic projects but mainly shopfitting. The work is fast-paced, varied, and hands-on: first fix, second fix, finishing, and metal stud and ceilings.

We're looking for an experienced joiner who can walk onto a site, read a basic plan, and just get on with the job. No ego, no hand-holding, just someone that can actually do what they say they can.

We've had too many overpromise and underdeliver lately. So we're being clear:

This starts as a short trial. You'll get a few days to show us what you can do. If you fit in with the team and get the work done properly, we'll keep you on with regular work.

What You'll Be Doing:

First fix, second fix, and finishing joinery on commercial fit-outs and domestic jobs Working from basic drawings or instructions Problem-solving on site when things don't go to plan Helping with metal stud partitions or suspended ceilings
What We're Looking For:

Proven commercial/joinery experience (ideally shopfitting) Confident working solo or as part of a small team Reliable, self-sufficient, and honest about your skillset Able to read basic plans and work tidily Own tools and transport
Big Pluses (Not Essential):

Experience with suspended ceilings and metal stud Ability to adapt on the fly and help keep jobs moving Happy to take the lead on smaller joinery tasks
