We are seeking a skilled Joiner/Multi skilled to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and be proficient in various construction techniques. This role involves working on a range of projects, from fabricating bespoke furniture to assembling structural components. The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks Perform heavy lifting as required for the transportation and installation of materials Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square, maintaining accuracy throughout the project Carry out painting and finishing tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed work Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and masons, to ensure seamless project execution Follow health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with experience in fabricating various wooden structures Strong ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous for integrated projects Capability to perform masonry work as needed for specific installations Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Ability to manage heavy lifting tasks while maintaining proper lifting techniques Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
