Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work effectively with various hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Duties

Construct and assemble wooden structures such as doors, windows, and furniture. Fabricate custom joinery pieces according to specifications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Perform painting and finishing tasks on completed projects. Carry out electrical installations related to joinery work when required. Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary for transporting materials and completed items. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including masons and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Experience

Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery work. Familiarity with carpentry techniques, including assembly methods and finishing processes. Experience in masonry is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and effectively.
