Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of electrical work, roofing, and painting. The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. First and second fix joinery competence essential. Perform joinery tasks such as cutting, shaping, and joining materials using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to specifications and building codes. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Assist in the installation of roofing materials when required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter is essential. Familiarity with joinery techniques and principles is required. Experience in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of electrical systems related to joinery work is advantageous. Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

Pay: 37,000.00-45,000.00 per year
