Tiger Projects is a growing, reputable construction company specialising in high-quality residential and bespoke projects across the North East of Scotland. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner to join our professional team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, both on-site and in workshop settings, delivering exceptional craftsmanship to meet the expectations of our clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture and install bespoke joinery components based on technical drawings and specifications
Carry out first and second fix joinery on a variety of residential construction projects
Install structural and finish carpentry elements including frameworks, doors, windows, and fittings
Work collaboratively with other trades (e.g. masonry, plumbing, electrical) to ensure seamless project delivery
Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Conduct manual handling of materials and components, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed
Adhere to project timelines and contribute to maintaining a high standard of finish across all works
Essential Requirements
Recognised qualification in Carpentry and Joinery (e.g. SVQ/NVQ or equivalent)
Proven experience in both site-based and workshop joinery
Full UK driving licence (Company van provided)
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficient in the use of both hand tools and power tools
Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
Excellent communication and time management skills
Positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative working environment
Desirable Skills
Experience with roofing, masonry, or general construction trades
Familiarity with plumbing or electrical integration in joinery projects
Painting and finishing skills
