Overview

We are looking to recruit a qualified Maintenance Operative to carry out reactive maintenance repairs and quoted works on our customers' multiple premises throughout the North West. You will need to have at least 5 years experience.

You'll be working mainly unsupervised, working one man per van, but you'll work alongside other teammates on bigger jobs.

We're looking for people with a building maintenance back ground who are willing to learn new skills and turn your hand to minor jobs of other trades too. If you've got plumbing or general building experience that would be great.

A company van and fuel card will be provided, therefore a valid driving licence is essential. You will also receive a uniform, PPE. A company pension is included. We offer 20 days holiday plus 8 public holidays.

Duties

- Utilise joinery techniques
- Work with a variety of materials including wood, masonry, and electrical components
- Perform tasks such as painting, heavy lifting, and carpentry as required
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Experience in joinery, carpentry, and masonry
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
