Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our maintenance team at Middleton Lodge Events LTD. This role is vital in maintaining and enhancing the estate's beautiful structures. As part of our dedicated team, you will contribute to preserving the estate's historic integrity while supporting our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures with precision. Use hand tools and power tools to carry out carpentry and joinery tasks. Assist in roofing projects and heavy lifting activities. Maintain high standards of craftsmanship in all woodworking tasks. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure structural integrity. Follow safety procedures during all construction activities. Support minor plumbing, masonry, or electrical work as needed. Contribute to the upkeep of the estate's aesthetic appeal through carpentry-related tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter, preferably within heritage or estate settings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques. Strong knowledge of joinery, carpentry, and roofing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Good communication skills and ability to work within a team. Relevant certifications or qualifications in carpentry or construction are advantageous. Basic understanding of plumbing, masonry, or electrical work is a plus.
