Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of structures and fixtures on commercial and residential sites. Your expertise in carpentry and construction techniques will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling, contributing to the creation of quality spaces that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, and other materials using hand tools and power tools. Perform framing work including wall, floor, ceiling, and roof structures with precision. Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, siding, molding, and trim carpentry components. Assist with restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, stucco application, and siding repairs. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while handling heavy lifting equipment and working on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship standards.

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general woodworking. Hands-on experience with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and CNC machinery is highly desirable. Background in construction site work including heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and safety compliance. Knowledge of various building materials such as metal studs, drywall (plastering), stucco, siding materials (vinyl or fiber cement), flooring (tile or hardwood), and roofing systems. Experience in restoration industry tasks like mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus. Ability to perform fixture installation such as doors hanging or cabinetry with precision.

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour
