Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and joinery, with a strong focus on fabrication and assembly. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects from hotel refurbishment's and student accommodation. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and project specification.

In addition to our current project in Formby, we have regular work across the UK, including Stratford (London), Bournemouth, Leeds and more. For the right candidate, this means consistent, long-term work and the opportunity to become part of a tight-knit team that takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship on every job.

All candidates must have a valid CSCS card in date

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and components using hand tools and power tools Install joinery elements such as doors, fire doors and bespoke furniture Carry out heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently on-site Conduct construction painting to finish surfaces to a high standard Read technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, and joinery techniques Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers Competence in operating power tools safely and effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
