Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and the use of both hand and power tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is capable of performing heavy lifting and working on diverse projects, including roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical tasks.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various joinery tasks. Perform roofing installations and repairs as required. Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of materials on-site. Carry out construction painting to finish projects to a high standard. Assist with plumbing installations and repairs when necessary. Undertake masonry work as part of broader construction projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential. Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to joinery. Knowledge of carpentry practices and principles is highly desirable. Experience with roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical tasks is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
