Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team in assembling and installing various wooden structures. On high end domestic construnction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-quality joinery work including first and second fix joinery, traditional cut roofing all the way to fitted furniture and decorative panel work. The Candidate will require to have there own van and fully equipped with all of the the relevant tools and equipment. You will be required to work on a sub- contracted basis subject to CIS deductions. Required to work as part of a team and also independently on various jobs around the South Manchester/ Cheshire area.

Duties

- Utilise power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden components
- Perform joinery tasks such as fitting doors, windows, skirts, arcs, staircases, kitchens to a high standard.
- Undertake some minor building work on occasion to enable joinery projects
- Assist with heavy lifting when required
- Work on a variety of projects including some structural steel work

Experience

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in joinery techniques
- Experience with carpentry work
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks
- Knowledge of assembling wooden structures
- Familiar with the domestic construction industry specialising in joinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 150.00-180.00 per day
