J Mills Contractors are a Manchester based building and maintenance contractor. Within the responsive maintenance division, we look after a number of different clients in the commercial sector and are on the lookout for a joiner/carpenter to join our team. The role will be carrying out a mixture of responsive maintenance and planned/quoted works to a range of sites (for example, offices and industrial estates). The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified joiner/carpenter with previous experience and can also turn their hand to other trades if required (not necessary, but an added bonus). As you will be working in occupied areas, you must be able to communicate well and work under pressure.

Work under pressure with time constraints. Customer focused providing excellent customer service. Hold a full driving license. Be able to use mobile device to provide updates. Excellent communication skills. Have an energetic positive outlook and a can-do attitude.
The Package:

Hourly rate dependent on experience (paid weekly). Opportunities for overtime (when available) - Time & half/double time (dependent on the hours worked). Van and fuel card. 31 days holiday, including bank holidays. In addition to the above, your birthday will be given as a paid holiday. UK Government Pension Scheme - Royal London. Mobile Phone (provided on completion of probationary period). All work-related expenses to be reimbursed.
