We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of carpentry and joinery, with a strong focus on fabrication and assembly. Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and components using a range of hand tools and power tools. Execute precise joinery work for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Assist with roofing tasks, including installing roof trusses and sheathing. Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and components safely on-site. Contribute to construction painting, masonry, plumbing, and electrical tasks as needed within project scope. Follow technical drawings and specifications to deliver bespoke joinery solutions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as masons, electricians, and plumbers to complete projects efficiently.

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, and joinery techniques. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers. Competence in operating power tools including drills, sanders, and saws. Knowledge of roofing systems, masonry work, plumbing installations, and electrical systems is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with health & safety standards. Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and cuts. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. Relevant experience in construction painting or masonry is desirable but not essential.
