Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings using hand tools and power tools Execute joinery tasks with precision to meet project specifications Install components such as roofing frameworks, mouldings, and cabinetry on-site Perform heavy lifting of materials safely to facilitate construction activities Assist with masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting as required Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building regulations Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project phase Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects within deadlines

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related trades such as masonry or plumbing Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks Knowledge of roofing techniques, electrical systems, and construction painting is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong understanding of safety procedures within a construction environment Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not essential Good organisational skills with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications Physical fitness to undertake demanding manual tasks over extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Work Location: In person
