Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our renovations team at Portrush by the Sea. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. This role involves heavy lifting and using hand and power tools to assemble, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Duties

Assemble and install wooden structures, including roofs, doors, windows, and furniture. Perform masonry tasks as needed for various projects. Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete joinery tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter on sites, with a strong understanding of joinery techniques. Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledge of masonry techniques is an advantage. Strong attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
