Autogate Services is

based in Steeple Morden, Herts will be to produce high quality hardwood driveway gates in our modern workshop. Must be competent in the use of all hand tools, router, sander, mortise and tenon machine, spindle moulder, table saw

As our Joiner, you'll be part of a small, but busy, and very friendly team. Must have worked in a similar environment, ideally previous experience in same or very similar product.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and capable team members who are self motivated and able to get on with the job. You'll be happy working under your own initiative, and as part of a team.

Must be physically fit as the gates/oak posts sometimes need to be moved around the workshop. There is equipment to assist with this but there is some lifting involved too.

Friendly, hard-working, enthusiastic and conscientious with excellent attention to detail, and a "can do" and positive outlook.....You'll be described as trustworthy, reliable, having high standards, mature and a good team player.... You'll have a flexible and helpful attitude and take a real pride in doing a great job.

The successful candidate must have previous joinery/carpentry experience, ideally with a similar product. Full UK driving licence useful as we may ask you to help with deliveries from time to time.

A good attitude and reliability is just as important as the appropriate skills.

Forklift licence helpful but not essential.
