Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality joinery work that aligns with our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. As a Joiner at Valley Group, you will play an integral part in executing projects that enhance our clients' environments.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. Lift and repair floorboards in domestic properties for rewire teams. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Perform repairs and renovations as needed on existing structures. Ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout all tasks. Assist in training junior staff as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role in the construction industry. Strong skills in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, and joinery techniques. Proficient with hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in construction. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. have own power tools.

Pay: 16.50-17.50 per hour
