We are seeking a skilled Joiner/Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in woodworking and be proficient in both the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures. The Joiner/Carpenter will work closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life, ensuring high-quality finishes and durability in all projects.

Duties

Fabricate custom woodworking structures according to specifications. Assemble components using various hand tools and power tools. Perform joinery techniques to ensure strong and precise connections. Collaborate with team members on project designs and timelines. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards. Assist with heavy lifting during the installation of cabinets and other structures. Engage in additional carpentry tasks as required, including roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication and assembly techniques for cabinetry. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in woodworking. Experience in carpentry and joinery practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Familiarity with construction painting techniques is advantageous. Basic plumbing skills are a plus for installations that require integration with existing systems. Knowledge of masonry work can enhance project versatility. Electrical experience is beneficial for projects involving integrated lighting or appliances.
